Very disappointing to be dealing with a specialist who is helpless, careless, condescending and interrupted during the appointment. No solutions or alternative was offered, resulting in unmanaged pain and a patient emotionally distressed.
Dr. Harms knows his stuff and comes very highly regarded by many former patients, including a decent number of MD patients. He is very clear, patiently answered all of our questions, and never pointed to surgery as the only answer for our issues. His mantra: If it ain't broke, don't fix it." In spite of his dark sounding name, Dr. Harms seems only interested in helping. My teenage daughter was very nervous following X-rays showing a slight curvature of her spine. We saw Dr. Harms to consult on these X-rays. He was very thorough, respectful of my daughter's intelligence and modesty, and clear in his recommendations and explanations. Grateful for his experience and manner. Recommended!
