Dr Howell saw my sister two years ago for a broken femur. He was nice enough however was rude to my physical therapist daughter who was caring for her on a later visit. Saying “let me be the “Dr” as my daughter told him what was going on with my sister (my daughter is a Dr also and knew more about what was going on with her than him) Fast forward two years my sister is still in pain and walking with a cane. Dr. Howell is kind, has a calm demeanor and provides excellent care. I never have to wait more than a few minutes.
I am 100% pleased with my bilateral carpal tunnel done in the office without anesthesia. If I were younger, I could have easily gone to work in a day or 2. You get 2 injections of lidicane to numb the entire hand. 2 stings, but both stings go away in seconds. Regrets... Sure....I regret I didn't know about this in office surgery sooner. My hands no longer fall asleep. Driving, sleeping, working, and no tingling.
Sit and wait an hour after appt time waiting to be seen. Also, I wasn’t impressed by how he treated me by trying to make me feel dumb and stating that my MRI didn’t show what it clearly showed and treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about. Needless to say my PCP will not be sending anyone to this physician. What happened to “compassionate care Conway Orthopedics?
