Dr.Morse was my GI in 2007.I had crohns since age 11 prior to having a flare up in 2007.Dr.Morse though comes across as a very nice gentleman,literally failed to read page 2 on the surgeon's recommendation to immediately start me on biologic treatment Infliximab.That was never discussed with my family or I as a option.Instead I had repeated scopes done that year where I was told "looks good"which with second opinion down at UMass Memorial Hospital where I went as a child said it looked very bad.I had a delay in care to start... read more

Went to have a colonoscopy done here on Sept 23rd, 2022. The admissions personnel were friendly and professional. The prep nurses made me feel comfortable and I felt that I was in good hands from my initial entry to my departure. Dr. Morse was friendly and I certainly felt confident that I was in good hands and that he would do a good job. I can't be the only person who finds Portland Gastro to be a great place. All too often people will write about the negative things and are less likely to write about the positive ones....... read more

Avoid this place at all costs!!! Receptionists are horrible. Doctors never return phone calls, they send the secretaries out to do there dirty work. If you want an appointment expect over 60 days for an appointment. Don't put your health in there hands. You will be treated like a number instead of an individual.
