Listening to the patient is the cornerstone of my practice. I want to provide the best, most up to date and clinically proven medicine to my patients, but unless I know what they really want I cannot provide the best care. Depending on where a person is in their life experience they may desire more or less treatment, more medications or fewer pills and lifestyle change to achieve their goals. When a patient can be heard, their needs can be better met.

Had gone to orthopedics, physical therapy, chiropractor . So much money wasted. Dr. Meade diagnosed and treated, and finally some relief! Simple treatment, wish I'd seen him sooner.
Dr. Jim is great. He is caring and listens to concerns. Dr. Jim works with you to develop a plan and is encouraging the entire way. He is by far one of the best doctors I've ever had.
Rude, does bare minimum, poor medical care, does not monitor drug levels well. Freely prescribes antianxiety meds and adhd meds. Does not refer to specialist when needed to diagnose better.
What a wonderful doctor with a wonderful personality. Really cares about patients.
Our family have been patients of Dr Meade for 20 years now. I am very selective with any doctor we see. He is always very thorough answering all of our questions and explaining why things need to be done. Dr Meade has vast knowledge in all areas of medicine. The compassion and concern he shows us is unsurpassed when compared to other physicians, including specialists, we have seen. We absolutely recommend him as a family/sports medicine physician.
Excellent care provided
Waited one hour and 10 minutes passed my appointment time to see the doctor (I had made the appointment 5 weeks before). I commented on the long wait so he rushed through the appointment. I didn't get to ask all the questions I had. Not much of an exam. I also wanted my back looked at for any suspicious moles and that was almost forgotten with being rushed and difficult to do with being in my street clothes.
They give pills like candy. Tried at least 8 different prescriptions. All of which did not help and only decreased my quality of life due to side effects. When told that I didn't want any prescription pills they just insisted that a different one would probably help(tried prescribing nearly the same pill). They never listened and were always skeptical of what I was telling them.
I recently moved to Watertown and I am 71 years old and in good health but I needed my one medication refilled so I booked an appointment with Dr Meade. He not only explained why i needed my medication but also how it worked. I spent over 35 minutes with the doctor who also did a needed blood test. After waiting 10 minutes he came back with the test results and clearly explained them to me. Most importantly, I left with a feeling of confidence that i am in good care.
