Dr deCaestecker is very nice doctor and is the first Dr here in the Dayton, OH to listen to me and not just send me back to Baltimore, MD where I have had previous surgery done at. He really take the time with his patients and explains everything to you of what is going on and what he thinks he can do to help the patient out. I cant ask for a better Dr / Surgeon here in the Dayton area.
Great bedside manner. I had great results with the surgery. Didn't even have to take pain meds after surgery.

Dr.de Caestecker preformed upper abdominal hernia surgery and despite my nervousness he was very upbeat and reassuring. my only regret was that he couldn't perform my many orthopedic surgeries. the kid is good! and I highly recommend him.
Dr DeCaestecker operated on my mom the first week of Feb. 2017. We've been told by other doctors that her most recent infection was left there during that first surgery & ignored this entire time. It turned into a loculated pleural effusion empyema and almost killed her. His response this entire time has been to let it go he said it was so small don't worry about it. Thank. God for the surgeons who operated this time they saved her life. I wouldn't take my neighbors dog to Dr. decaestecker.
Dr de Caestecker has taken care of my mother for quite few years now. She has had 5 surgeries with him. I would recommend no one else!! He has always been caring, professional and more than helpful taking time to answer all our questions. He's very calm in an emergency and more than able to handle anything. He is a WONDERFUL doctor!
My father passed away under his care, we trusted him, no I wouldn't recommend him.
