I have seen Dr. Carswell since I moved from CT to SC in 2004. He has always been polite, professional and he knows how to treat his patients. I now see him mainly for my CPAP. He is attentive and tries to do everything he can to make his patients' lives easier.
I've been seeing Dr. Carswell since 2005 or perhaps late 2004. He was new in town when I started with him. Everyone in my family that needed a pulmonologist has seen him. When I figured out what I had on my own, I called all my doctors. None of them would admit it except Dr. Carswell. I was so grateful to hear the truth. He is brilliant, compassionate, thorough and damn good at what he does. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I've moved away and I still come back to him. He is a treasure.
I had a rather discomfiting visit with a different pulmonologist; hence when I found Dr. Carswell I was extremely impressed by the warmth, care and thoroughness in which he approached my illness. Many doctors these days are so rushed. But he takes his time, makes sure all of your questions are answered and was very thorough in investigating what was wrong with me. dr. Carswell is the most compassionate,and caring doctor.You can tell he cares because he listens to you.i would recommend Dr. Carswell to anyone that needs him.
Every visit is always a pleasure with Dr. Carswell. He is very personable and professional. If you doesn't know how to answer a question, he actually tells you he doesn't know the answer. Then he confers with his colleagues and makes sure he gets a proper answer for you.
