I have been with Dr. James for well over 10 years. Even when I moved out of state I still schedule appointments with him around my visits back to Huntsville. He’s just that good. Patient. Kind. Listens to my concerns. One thing that is important to me is that he does whip out his prescription pad for every little thing. He recommends dietary and lifestyle changes to achieve health. Dr. Makemson believed me when I said there was something wrong. After 18 months and two other doctors turning me away saying there was nothing wrong with me, Dr. Makemson recommended a hida scan to be sure. The scan results found my gall bladder was failing even though it did not show up on other tests. A month later I am recovering from having my GB removed and I feel better than I have in almost two years!! Dr. Makemson is fantastic! He is personable, and patient. TY Dr. M!!!!
