Last year scheduled septiplasty with office. Surgery scheduler was rude, figured she had a bad day. My surgical copay would be $10 as per my insurance. They tried to charge me $2,000 upfront. They told me that they do not have to follow the agreement with my insurance (I have a major carrier) and can charge whatever they want. Beware!! Dr. D should not be doing plastic surgery. In my opinion. They messed up my nose. Looks like 2 different people did each side. They refused to see me to correct this. They are pretending that I have an extremely large bill, so they refuse to see me, but this is not correct. They make you pay for everything up front before they will even schedule your procedure.
