I really liked Dr Buchanan as soon as I met him. Hes one of those people who makes you feel like you've known each other forever. Very comfortable. I am a super high anxiety dental patient and hard to numb. Usually. But he didnt seem to have a problem getting me numb. Pulled a tooth for me with no problems at all. Definitely recommend.
Dr. James Buchanan and his team at North Charlotte Oral Surgery were all absolutely amazing throughout my whole process of removing 3 of my wisdom teeth. I want to say thank you for their overall compassion to my situation as well as post-surgery treatment and care. I would recommend this place to anyone needing dental work done in a professional and friendly environment!
I took my mom there for her tooth to be extracted. Dr Buchanan and his staff were very helpful and friendly. The office is also very clean. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
The dentist seemed knowledgeable and polite. The staff, however, was a bit unorganized, and dishonest. Firstly my consultation appointment was overbooked. The staff also never checked if my insurance was in-network although I had inquired 24 hours prior to my appointment. I only learned that they were out-of-network after paying $299 for a consultation then $200 for a down payment towards surgery. I had to contact my insurance for the information.
