I found Dr. Tiesi to be very knowledgeable. He was very thorough explaining my MRI and put me at ease. I highly recommended him.

He did fix my back but he is a complete stuck up person does not want to hear anything you have to say and my wife asked him what all he had to do after he finished my surgery and he told her he don’t remember exactly what he did with out looking at the chart but he literally just finished it minutes before but I can’t lie he did fix the problem as my back was fixed for years after until recently when I was just in a car accident now I’m in severe pain again but he does get the job done that’s one this for sure bedside manne... read more

I am sad to say all of the 1 star ratings are absolutely true in regards to Tiesi. I went in w/an open mind even after having difficulty w/his appointment scheduler. She was extremely rude & misleading. The front desk ladies are vary accomminding, I feel bad for them having to work with James Tiesi & Paula. During my visit w/Tiesi, he immediately had negativity towards me & did not believe anything I said in regards to my injury. He claimed my injury was a growth, then asked if I was married & if I was married my husband wou... read more

Dr. Tiesi spent a lot of time with me going over the MRI, showing what the problems were and offering solutions. The visit was not rushed and extremely informative. Out of three options offered, I chose spinal fusion and decompression. After surgery, Dr Tiesi, visited me each day in the hospital to check on my progress. Weeks following the surgery, another office visit to review new xrays of the repairs done during surgery, were reviewed. Again, Dr Tiesi took his time with me and to tell you, I am extremely pleased with his ... read more

I came to this site to report a very positive visit with Dr. Tiesi, my first time to see him. I was really amazed at the negative comments I found here. Not to pre-judge other reviewers here, but I know a supposed inability to work are often attributed to back injuries and pain and are quite often used to claim insurance or other benefits fraudulently, and frankly I'm glad if Dr. Tiesi tends to err on the side of caution. He saw me on a very short lead time referral from my cardiologist, yet spent a great deal of time explai... read more

I had a minor surgery with Dr Tiesi to remove a spinal cord stimulator. My problem started when he didn’t even take 5 minutes after surgery to call my husband. The problem continued when we called that night because I was in pain and having issues with the anesthesia. Dr T was rude and dismissive. He had zero compassion or empathy. He may be a decent surgeon but his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. It may have been a small surgery for him but he still cut into my body.

Dr. Tiesi is a great neurologist. He kept my mind at ease. I have nothing but good things to say about him. He performed a craniotomy and drained a brain abcess. God bless you Dr. Tiesi and your family.

After two MRI's, a round of disk injections, P/T and lots of ibuprophen my sciatic pain level reached a level 10. I met with Dr. Tiesi and the day before Thanksgiving 2017 I had a left side L-5 disk decompression, hemi-laminectomy and foraminotomy. In 4 days I no longer needed the pain meds, and was released to drive 10 days post surgery. It is now 30 days post surgery and I have less back pain than I have had in 20 years. I am very, very grateful for Dr. Tiesi and his surgical skill.
