I like this doctor a lot. Have been through my share of docs and had varying experiences, but I feel good about coming to Dr Rao. She’s concise and doesn’t waste time with small talk, which I honestly greatly appreciate.Pros: Was very knowledgeable, honestly listened to me and allowed me to speak which is very refreshing in my experience. Made me feel like I was being heard and my concerns were being taken seriously. Office itself very neat, staff super friendly, returned my calls in a timely manner.Cons: Immediately upon se... read more
I have been seeing Dr. Rao for 6 years. I feel she treats me with the care and concern for my well-being that she would give to a member of her family. She remembers personal details from past visits, the kind of stuff that's not in your chart. She is personable, kind, and understanding. Easy to talk to and to discuss difficult issues with. I have recommended her to multiple people in search of a new primary care physician, and will continue to do so. Thanks Dr. Rao!
Dr. Rao was my mother's doctor. Pros - She is friendly. For elderly women, she makes them very comfortable. As a PCP she does all basic stuff ok. Cons - not a proactive PCP. Had to push her for a gastro referral even after my mom suffered with GI issues for months. Also lets slide conditions like arthritis - in early stages could have tried stem cell therapy etc. Dr could've given an ortho referral. We did not treat early and now it is too late. Our current PCP is proactive.
My first visit i was very impressed everyone was very respectful and very nice
Don't waste your time and money. They are unprofessional and lack any sense of urgency.
Terrible bedside manner. Doesn't return calls within 24 hours. Not very through, makes assumptions based off chart rather than talking to the patient. I will not be returning to see anyone from her practice.
Dr. Rao is great. As a new patient I was really impressed by her personality. Very kind, intelligent, inquisitive and perceptive. She took time to listen and understand my concerns. She was very non-hasty in explaining lab results and goals. She makes you feel like a person and not a number that has to move on to the next patient in record time.
Dr. Rao is the best. She is so caring and respectful. Ever single time I go in she listens and ask questions and takes care of the problem or sends me to the best specialist she knows AND I love that the wait time IS UNDER 10 MINS. I recommend her to everyone I know.
