AVOID THIS DENTAL PRACTICE! After one of "Healthy Smiles" dental assistants shattered my tooth when taking off the temporary cap, the dentist coldly informed me that I would be charged an additional $5,000 for an implant to replace it. I have no problem with Dr. Benchimol. My problem is the way they confirm an appointment. For your appointment they call 3 times to confirm! They use to not do that but only confirm the appoint one day ahead. So I had an appointment and confirmed it twice. Go to my appointment and they removed me from my schedule appointment!!! They claim they called me the day before and didn't get a call back. I know they didn't call me because it would show up on my phone as a miss call plus they always leave a voicemail. Healthy Smiles Dentistry Dr.Jacques Benchimol is none the less a rip off. Office fails when they systematically overcharge you for services rendered & go above the contracted amount with the insurer. my fiance had his first and second appt. second visit he was going in for a simple extraction & consult about a perm.
