I'm 84-1/2 and had my right hip replaced by Dr. Gunzenhaeuser on 1/8/26 at Christ Hospital. I had 5 in home PT sessions following my surgery. The pain I had experienced for over a year is completely gone. I don't have my post op appointment with Dr. Gunzenhaeuser until 2/16/26. My walker and cane have not been used for several weeks and my limp has totally disappeared. My left hip was replaced 5/6/13 by Dr. Patrick Kirk who has mentioned Dr. Gunzenhaeuser for 9 years. He was very cold, unhelpful, and a poor listener. I do not feel I got any care or attention I was seeking for the chronic pain I have.
Dr Gunzenhaeser is the BEST DR EVER especially for hips & knees! We were so blessed to find him through other family members that also drove 3 hours for surgery. His bedside manner is wonderful- so professional but very friendly- explains everything on our level & takes his time. We love him so much!!
