Dr. Walz is a miracle worker and I have been a patient for over a decade. He has helped improve my quality of life dramatically. He cares about his patients and has a variety of approaches to help with TMJ. He is a great resource in central Illinois.

I have been in treatment with Dr. Walz for years and have been seen in both offices. The treatment I receive from his office has improved my life. I trust his opinion completely.

TMD treatment is still mostly theoretical and is yet to be majorly accredited/ regulated. That being said, Dr. Walz's treatment methods are common among TMD patients, but studies show success rates are typically around %40-50 for repositioning splints. However, the TMJ Association does not endorse Dr. Walz diagnoses methods. Be sure to get an MRI to make a medical confirmation before making any treatment decisions. I was referred to Dr. Walz by my dentist to address my TMJ Disorder because it was getting worse and worse. When I called to make an appointment I asked how much I was going to have to pay that day, knowing that I only had a $40 co-pay. The lady on the phone told me that it is Dr. Walz policy to pay the full amount at the time of the appointment and that my insurance company would reimburse me at a later date.
