Dr. Raijman, in my limited experience, has been thorough. While he may not be forthcoming with a lot of detailed information, if you have done some homework and ask him questions, he will take the time to answer them, which I appreciate. His office is well run, and his PA, Yolanda, is great. Communication is very good. A couple of procedures and two visits later, I’m pleased.
I first met Dr Raijman 6 years ago when he was recommended to us by my husband’s gastroenterologist as the “best” in his field. My husband was diagnosed with endocrine pancreatic cancer. Over the last 6 years, Dr Raijman has performed 6 necessary out-patient procedures on my husband. So when I needed to see a gastroenterologist, I did not hesitate to see him. Dr Raijman is always pleasant and quick to smile; he tells it like it using layman’s terms. It is my opinion that Dr Raijman is competent, confident and compassionate. ... read more
Follow up long term is not helpful for me. Did invasive testing and prescription one size fits all. In my opinion it seems like he works for someone or in contract with high cost versus patient outcomes. not for sure but follow up for chronic patient like me who want non invasive treatment when possible is slim choices with this gastro doctor. Cost has gone up. I understand the corona virus going around but many people will suffer from other conditions for lack of treatment.( like me). ?? Televisit only goes so far and if yo... read more
Raijman placed a stint in stomach during a procedure to clear an obstruction in bile duct and stent failed due to being "malpositioned". Dr. Raijman ignored numerous telephone calls from patient who was in painful distress. His action and subsequent lack of attention caused biliary peritonitis, resulting in surgery. There is concern that the digestive system will never fully recover due to damage as a result of the malpositioned stent and ensuing lack of attention to patient failing to take appropriate action in a reasonable... read more
Every 2 to 3 months I have a procedure for :Barreett"s esophagus etc. !st procedure my wife said you could see the pain on the Doctor"s face when he told her I had a small problem..After that he fixed the problem. Now when I have follow up every 3 to 6 months my wife tells me she knows all is well just to see his smile. Dr. Raijman is one of the most dedicated Doctors for this chosen field..Not only a GREAT DOCTOR, BUT A FANTASTIC HUMAN BEING.THANK GOD I WAS ABLE TOBE PLACED IN HIS CARE.
Good professional interaction. Patient and knowledgeable. Good diagnosis and treatment help me have some quality of life when other gastroenterologist just gave an invasive option. Thank you doctor Raijman for not giving up on me.ive had some time with family and got to finish watching my kids grow up. The only thing I wished was the office staff to have a little more patience.....
Dr Raijman is compassionate, listens, intelligent, he is the best. If you want the best it is him. I was recommended to go to Dr Raijman by another physician. I highly recommend him.
I found Dr. Raijman seven years ago and sorry it was not sooner. He is tops in the Gastroenterology field, and I can say this after having been to four other doctors in this field. Along with being compassionate and patient he explains everything and always asks if you have any questions without rushing you out the door. I have always had phone calls returned in a reasonable time and never encountered anything but politeness from all his staff.
Dr. Raijman is very easy to talk to and will take time to explain your condition and make sure you are comfortable with the treatment plan. I've been seeing him since 2014 and he was the best thing to happen in my gastro life! Previous gastros were not helpful at all, but Dr. Raijman listened and has definitely helped me. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Raijman to family and friends if they ever encountered biliary problems.
