Dr. Ifthikhar was my cardiologist during my pregnancy and my opinion of his profession and his staff were very high. When my mother began having some issues with her blood pressure, I asked her to change cardiologists and long story short, Dr. ifthikar has saved my mothers life! Whenever my mother has needed refills, they have been called in before the end of the day. Whenever my mother has gone into AFIB, Dr. ifthikar has made her direct admission fast and easy! I highly recommend this dr.
Have been going nearly 20 yrs.. excellent staff & wonderful Dr. He gave my mother several more yrs to live. Would only see him for any heart related problems.
My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Iftakars for several years and while his office staff is nothing to brag about, we trusted Dr. Iftakar and looked past his staff. However, just recently, my HBP has gotten out of control (147/112 pulse of 109- continually) so I called the office seeking guidance and had to leave a voicemail. This was on a Monday. As of Wednesday I have not heard from anyone, I called back Wednesday and had to leave another message for his nurse.

Dr. Iftikhar is an excellent cardiologist. He unquestionably deserves to be considered among the top cardiologists in Houston by is competence, knowledge and care that he display .
Dr. Iftikhar has been a God send for our family, I recommend him to any and everyone that talks about needing a cardiologist.
