JM New Bedford, Ma. Dr. Ingolf Tuerk and his team are incredible. My total experience at St. Elizabeths Hospital was beyond my greatest expectations. From initial consultation to pre-op to surgery every person I encountered along the way was incredible. Went in with elevated PSA and 2 core of 12 positive, Gleason 6 . Came out after 24 hrs. And returned home. Catheter removed one week later cancer free. If you are reading these reviews, believe me you have found the right team to help you.
Nerve-sparing prostatectomy w/robo assist: Post-op Hour18-WALK out of hospital. Day2-pathology report=cancer 100% removed. Day7-catheter out; return to “normal” activities. Day14-abdominal swelling diminishing. Total pain med since post-op: ZERO – none needed. Dr Tuerk & Crew are PHENONIMAL! Confident, no arrogance; all are approachable, attentive, responsive; downright friendly! Clock work; focused; result oriented. Perfect follow-up. Class act, hard to match. Relief exceeded only by Gratitude.
Was treated by Dr Turk in October 17 for cancer seven months later feeling great very glad I decided on robartic surgery he and his staff have been great anyone who is deciding on prostate surgery should take the time to visit his office and talk to Dr Turk
I was just operate two weeks and five days ago he remove a large tumor that it attach it self to my left kidney . And he remove part of my kidney to . He is excellent surgeon I would recommend him to everybody he did a great job and I'm up I'm home now and I'm just a little sore thank you dr turke ??
Ten days ago Dr Tuerk removed my prostate. Post surgery I felt absolutely no pain, albeit a little discomfit. And to date my recovery has proceeded just as he told me it would. Having heard horror stories about radical prostatectomies, I was pleasantly surprised about how well I felt after surgery. My total pain meds to date consist of four Tylenols at the insistence of my wife. I would recommend Dr. Tuerk without reservation.
