My experience was a horrible one. I had a trimalleor fracture of the right ankle. After my 1St surgery I was experiencing horrible pain and swelling and was told by Dr. Jercinovich it was all normal 4 months later I could not walk and he said I tweaked it I ended up going to the ER and was admitted come to find out I had a severe infection of my hardware and that my WBC was 19000 I had to have emergency surgery to remove all hardware.
