Tooth extraction and implant without sedation. It took less than 30 minutes. A little uncomfortable but no pain. The worst part is the numbing needle at the beginning. I listened to music the entire time. The operating room can be intimidating at first, however, this is surgery performed by an MD. The worst part was the rubber guard to keep mouth open for 20 or so minutes. Dr McDonald has done an extraction, rebuild of bone matter and a post/screw for a new crown on my tooth. He is proficient, very competent, focused, professional and gives his patients 100% of his attention. This was not so when work was done on the same tooth from another Oral Surgeon in Encinitas. Dr McDonald truly cares about his patients and follows up with a personal phone call. I will never go elsewhere.

The Ultimate Professional! The office staff too, was excellent. I cannot say enough about his expertise and the extraordinary experience I had last week during an extraction, which I was very worried about. I turned on my I-Pod to help me through the experience and before the first phrase of music of the first song was over, the tooth was out. I felt nothing! I was thrilled. Thank you Dr. McDonald.
