Compassionate, caring, listening, commenting
I really like Dr. Merrill. He listens to me, answers my questions thoroughly, and takes the time to explain things to me. Getting appointments is easy using MyChart, but his availability is not the best. Wait times for appointments are lengthy and stretch care for my issue out more than I'd like.
I have ALWAYS had excellent care from Swedish and Pac Med.

Dr, Merrill helped me understand my heart condition and the way it relates to my sleep issues. This was a very positive experience.
Providers questions are detailed and he listens to my responses, asking specific questions as needed. He helps me understand the overall health improvement goals anticipated through use of the equipment and teaching segments that are available.
Care given by Dr. Merrill and his team was excellent. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Dr. Ian Merrill is the best sleep specialist I've had in 40 years. My only complaints have nothing to do with him as a doctor. In the past two years, it has been difficult to make appointments. I haven't been able to find him on MyChart. I did a web search for his office number, but after 3-4 times of waiting on hold, having it ring then after a few minutes of silence disconnecting my call, I thought maybe he had retired, so I selected new patient, waited, the call was answered and I was told he hadn't retired so that person... read more
