I am writing this as I received a reminder today. Went last year (July) for foot pain. My wife also has foot pain. 1) concerns she voiced were talked down and ignored. At this point he lost any credibility with her. She ended her end of the examination. I should have at this point done the same. I hoped it was a situational thing. We discovered that I have bone spurs and I went ahead placed an order for orthotics. It was explained that some insurances take longer than others to respond to such a request. Best podiatrist in Nashville.
I wasn't very impressed with Dr Retief, he didn't really say much other than said I had a High arch and I should purchase some insoles from Academy Sports which I did, thankfully they wasn't very expensive but a few months later nothing changed so I found a Foot and Ankle specialist who told me I had a perfectly normal arch and didn't need insoles, both doctors did x-rays, not impressed Dr Retief not at all
