When my useless contract service company CAC closed their office on a weekday, just because it was raining in the morning, this company showed up within an hour. Remember that when choosing a an AC company. These horrible contract companies take your money for a year, then when your AC goes down, they act like it’s not an emergency. They keep only regular business days and hours, and close on a dime whenever they want. Then even when you get them on the phone, they tell y… See more
Our furnace wouldn’t light last year when it was cold and snowing and they came out and fixed the problem (the igniter wasn’t working). In the late spring I called and had them come out to service the AC unit. The lady who answered the phone told me about their annual service which is two services a year for just $123 so I got that. They were out on Monday and did the second service of the year. The techs have been efficient and very knowledgeable. I will continue to use their service.
As much as I enjoy being guilted into using someone's service (i.e. "you don't want your kids to suffer because you don't have working AC"), I don't think I'll ask Dr. HVAC to come to my house ever again. After being cancelled 3 times I longer will use Dr. HVAC for my heating and cooling needs.
I had one of the techs from Dr HVAC come and service my oil furnace when it would not light reliably. ( I had had it serviced by another Yamhill county company and their techs were not oil furnace savvy. They always got it working but I never felt they were 100% sure of what they were doing.) The tech from Dr HVAC went through the burner and igniter without hesitation, changed the fuel filter and it has performed flawlessly since the service. No callbacks, no more wondering whether it will start on a cold morning.
Furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, service and installation.
what do i think of Dr Hvac? i think they are a load of crap, from the first day they installed my ductless heat and air we had nothing but problems. especially the air conditioning factor constantly freezing up. three different tech guys came out on multiple occasions, but none of them knew what the other was doing. each one had different explanations and problems but none were the answer to fixing the problem. now we are told the labor warranty is up and its 102$ an hour to fix a problem they NEVER fixed to begin with. so n... read more
