Dr. Nowas is a great surgeon. He deserves 5 stars. I'm now able to walk because of him. Post op recovery was a breeze. The staff is also very professional, efficient and compassionate.
I had rotator cuff surgery in April. Dr. Nawas did the surgery and now 7 months later my right shoulder feels in better shape than before the surgery. Dr. Nawas is an excellent surgeon and always takes the time in the office to discuss questions. I'll be playing tennis again soon thanks to Dr. Nawas!
I was referred to Dr. Husam Nawas by another orthopedic specialist I visited recently. I have a lingering issue that I'm very concerned about making worse and my first Dr. recommended I get another opinion. When I arrived at office I was first seen by a physician's assistant and was told to wait for Dr. Nawas. 20 min later the PA came back in the room and let me know that they spoke so the Dr. didn't need to see me. Dr. Nawas replaced my radius head after a fall. The replacement was too large. I could not bend or straighten my arm for months even though I was wearing a dynasplint and going weekly to physical therapy. I had to go to another surgeon for another surgery three months later to have another replacement of the replacement with the correct size. Nightmare.
Dr. Nawas is awesome he took over for my previous dr when he moved and he made me feel at ease every time I saw him. He always made sure I understood what was going on with me and had a plan of action that I was comfortable. Thanks to dr Nawas I up and moving again
