I highly recommend Dr. Wilcox . He saved my life ! The best surgeon .
Although a very good Surgeon no doubt he doesn’t listen to his patients concerns and never saw him after surgery. Didn’t make sure Hospital had the correct follow up orders. Poor bedside manner.
Dr. Willcox took the time to talk with me, even in a busy ER, and I felt confident in his approach. He helped me through a very difficult situation and I would recommend him to friends and family.
Initially Dr. Wilcox treated me for a twisted intestine a week after back surgery. That went well until a hernia developed in my stomach which he attempted to correct with mesh. This became infected. He first said it was the stitches but now admits it is the mesh. I think Wilcox is very careful about providing information to the patient. I would not have submitted to this last surgery if i had known what I know now. His diagnosis was incomplete.
