I had a severely broken ankle. After a major stroke of good fortune I was assigned to Dr. Basmajian. He did a fantastic job of putting my ankle back together. Thanks to him I have no limp, no pain and am able to play pickleball! It can’t get any better than that. He works miracles.
Dr. Basmagian is an amazing surgeon who does anterior hip replacements. My physical therapist suggested that I have an anterior hip replacement as he felt the recovery time would be shortened. After one month, my recovery time was surprisingly short and smooth. I am without pain including sleeping throughout the night. My whole experience has been excellent from my first visit with Dr. Basmagian, to the pre-training with Ana Rodriguez, the surgery and care at Pomona Valley Hospital, to my recovery, and physical therapy. During cast removal the PA named Winston Hsieh cut/burned into my skin with the blade. He asserted that it was not possible for the blade to cause abrasions to the skin and I did let him know that it was starting to become painful. It was brushed off as feeling some “warmth” as a result of the vibration from the blade onto the cast. Honestly I would give it one star if it was possible. Tried to make an appointment over the phone several times but nobody ever picks up. So ridiculous. No matter how many times you call. Do not recommend at all.
