NOT FOR URGENT/SERIOUS ISSUES! I started seeing flashes 2 days ago. The web sez this is an opth. emergency and to go to an ER with an opth ASAP. But I went to a local MD and asked for a optho referral. He gave me Dr. Charles info. I called Dr. Charles office and reported my symptoms. They responded with an appointment 10 days. Irresponsible. FYI, the best option for NY'ers is to head to the Colombia U. Optho Clinic.
First time at this office. I drove an hour to get here because I have heard very good things about this office and doctor. I was not disappointed. Dr. Charles was great, he took the time to read through all the notes I brought him. He explained everything to me and made me feel confident and comfortable with his treatment. He has a great bed side manner and his staff are very friendly as well. Would recommend!
