My wife and I kind of had an idea of what we were getting ourselves into when we bought a home from DR Horton. What we were not expecting was the builder to completely blow us off. There were numerous items that were owned to us after our final walk through, and 8 months later we are still waiting. Very poor quality on many of the components of the home. Nice place to trick or treat
How should I start it off? I Bought my home back in September under the impression that it would be ready by September, I didn’t actually move in till October. They then told me that the house would need to “settle”, but that doesn’t explain why there’s missing brick work in the back yard. The wet paint peeling off the doors, the ceiling and walls cracking.
