I signed a contract in June, 2025 on a new one-story townhouse in Pingree Grove, IL. The sales agent I signed with told me he would keep me updated on the progress of my house...didnt. Just bought a DR Horton home and the garage floor is messed up. No clear coat epoxy seal was applied after the floor was just painted and sprinkles applied unevenly some spots on the floor are bold, the left corner of the garage floor does not even have sprinkles they must have run out. T h e sprinkles are peeling off. The sales person that had approved the "midgrade epoxy layer with lifetime warranty" told me to submit a warranty claim which I did and was declined and was told to submit after 60 days. ALERT ALERT ALERT - PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS !!!!!!! Mind you they already have a class action lawsuit. They tried to get you tied up into signing an arbitration clause. They got a lawsuit in South Carolina AND Louisiana from the issues I'm also experiencing here in Texas! It's nice someone found a great attorney that had good ties with some of these judges to get their bs arbitration clause waived Do not buy from them. Please do not buy a home here. They are the biggest builder because they build fast and cheap. Then they fight you for months for simple repairs. The guys they hire don't even try to be suddle about it. They literally say it's a your problem now and ignore you till you bug enough or someone speaks about illegal stuff on the phone then the manager gets involved. Please get a good builder. Our whole neighborhood is bad.
