I will never recommend or let anyone buy from D.R. Homes. The service and quality are very poor; all the materials they use are very low quality. Don't buy from them. We bought our home in April 2023. First, our garage had issues; it wouldn't close, and the outdoor lights weren't working on a brand new, closed house. Probably the worst builder to deal with - Braselton Village Georgia Managment promised to match a price of home that they undersold and didn’t honor it don’t take them for their word and get everything in writing from them. Oh and make sure to order independent home inspection they are famous for taking shortcuts when it come to building houses.
Dr Horton should rethink their entire partnership with Sterling ASI as their HOA management partner in Houston. Once you buy the home, you’re left to deal with the HOA which has been a nightmare from the beginning. Make sure to ask about the HOA management company for the home you’re considering, and look up reviews as this is a huge factor in your day to day life and quality. ALERT ALERT ALERT - PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS !!!!!!! Mind you they already have a class action lawsuit. In addition theyre facing RICO charges in other states.They tried to get you tied up into signing an arbitration clause. They got a lawsuit in South Carolina AND Louisiana from the issues I'm also experiencing here in Texas!
