My house was delivered as new construction in mid 2023, and just over two years later, the HVAC system has already failed during a major summer heatwave. A licensed technician from the builder’s original installer (Caryl Mechanicals) found a likely refrigerant leak at a brazed joint—indicative of poor installation, not normal wear and tear.
