I would not recommend D.R. Horton based on my experience as a homeowner. I purchased my home (Cantarra Meadows subdivision) in 2021, and within the first year, I began noticing clear signs of foundation issues (e.g., cracked walls, doors not closing properly, and other structural concerns). Do not purchase from this very untrained sales staff, as they give zero info on flood zones. Georgetown for example has an X rating and floods. Property plus home tax is a shocker number so deceptive sales tactics is in their dna. The woman who runs things has a bad rep.
Beware if you are considering to buy from here. Their sales will promise attractive offers such as $670 a year insurance and later deny. They mentioned they are are covering all the closing costs and title fees and you will still see random fees inserted to settlement document related to title etc or they will say oh they are optional to pay. Overall no formal disclosure and shady selling practice.
