Their homes are hastily built (yet somehow manage to take longer than promised) and have sloppy construction. Walls that flex, ceiling drywall not properly spaced or secured, floors that squeak, door latches not properly aligned, inconsistent HVAC temperature distribution, etc. It's unfortunate that some of these problems arose in between the first and second year, costing us hundreds.
