Dr. Holly Gilmer gave me my life back! I had decompression surgery with her and within 10 weeks I was back working. I couldn't function before, had very little quality of life and now I can play with my kids, work, etc. I would recommend her to everyone. And if I had to do it all again I would as long as she was my surgeon!

Dr. Gilmer completely changed the quality of my life with Chiari surgery. I went from wheelchair bound to teaching dance again. She is kind, knowledgeable, and I trust her with my life. Staff is lovely. Don’t let reviews scare you away. Her knowledge and experience is much more important in a surgeon than your waiting time in an office.
Please avoid going to Dr. Gilmer at all costs. I initially went to her for Chiari Malformation in June 2015, which she performed my initial decompression surgery for. Months after I developed a fluid leak. I went back to her for the CSF leak repair in April 2016. Only a month later it returned. My third surgery was performed at CS Motts in Ann Arbor in October 2016. My family and I were informed that my fluid leak was due to prior negligence.
