I had been going to Harvard Eye for two years approximately before 2023 seeing a retina specialist Dr. Dhoot. I had Aetna at the time then I switched to Scan. In January 2023 I called Harvard eye and they do not take Scan so I called my primary doctor for a retina specialist referral and she said I have to see an ophthalmologist first who would refer me to a retina specialist if needed. Dr Spanggord is very thorough with examinations and explaining results. She has for decades provided exemplary care. The SCECC staff is proficient, friendly & very responsive to patient needs. Highly reccommend Dr Spanggord.
