It is a good doctor with a lot of experiences and knowledge abd a good listener and patience.
Dr. Kirshner explained my options and answered every question to my satisfaction. His follow up each day I was in the hospital was attentive and helpful. His staff is excellent.
Doctors from other disciplines are legally allowed to do the surgery that Dr Smith does but their training is different and you will have different results. Wish I had known years ago. My husband is no longer suffering excruciating daily pain and like the other lady wrote - glad to have my husband back! Thank you Dr Smith!
His prejudice proceeds him. I have every reason to believe he is a good doctor, to some patients.
Dr, Kirshner did a good job on my valve replacement. His nurse practitioner and scheduler were wonderful helping me get ready for surgery. The reason for the three-star rating is that my femoral nerve was damaged during surgery when I was connected to the heart lung machine. After going through four months of physical therapy the pain was greatly reduced and I could walk without my leg giving out. Dr. Kirshner saved my life one year ago today 2/3/2020 with quadruple bypass surgery at Banner Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale...I am 73...Thank You Doctor!
After suffering an aortic dissection on September, 28 2020, my chances for survival were only one in four. I was blessed that Dr. Kirshner just happened to be on call that day and he literally saved my life.
