My daughter has been under Dr. Akpudo’s care at two separate hospitals. I asked multiple times during her stay for him to contact me regarding her care, as I was authorized by my daughter to be able to obtain medical information from him. He never once called me. I found Dr. Akpudo to be unprofessional and unwilling to listen to my concerns during my stay at Cypress Creek Hospital. I initially considered requesting a different doctor, but he assured me I would only be there for a couple of days, so I decided to remain under his care. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a mistake, as he ultimately kept me in the hospital for two weeks. During that time, I recall seeing him in person only about three times.
