My daughter has been under Dr. Akpudo’s care at two separate hospitals. I asked multiple times during her stay for him to contact me regarding her care, as I was authorized by my daughter to be able to obtain medical information from him. He never once called me. I found Dr. Akpudo to be unprofessional and unwilling to listen to my concerns during my stay at Cypress Creek Hospital. I initially considered requesting a different doctor, but he assured me I would only be there for a couple of days, so I decided to remain under his care. The worst experience ever. I had just gotten out of a rehab facility and mind you Dr. Agaputo has put me on this medication before. I have been clean for 6 months on good medication that my other psychiatrist in the rehabilitation put me on. They wanted to change up on all my medications and made me go take a UA before I could get my medication that causes me to have withdrawals Suboxone.
