I don't recommend Dr. Aviv. She was my primary and referred me to a specialist for high risk. Both doctors didn't communicate which resulted in a baby being born over their projected weight and over 50 hours in labor to turn into a c section. Dr. Aviv NEVER went to see me at the hospital even though I was there a week after the emergency c section. Staff was aware I couldn't deliver vaginally but were instructed on HER orders to proceed. The doctor and the staff are all lacking empathy. I was 5 min later than their 15 min grace period and they just couldn’t see me. Knowing that I just suffered a miscarriage, the best they could do is to reschedule me for next month! I was only late due to an unforeseen standstill traffic from an accident. But no one cared. The front desk staff are robots.
Dr. Herzlich is really kind and good at what she does. She explains things very well and informed on the latest research. I feel like I’m in good hands.
This is not a review on Dr. Herzlich (she’s a good doctor!), but rather the proceedings after my visit, which were immensely frustrating. I had not received a follow up on my imaging results for a good deal longer than I was told to expect. When I finally got in touch with someone, I was given two different answers regarding the interpretation of the results. Frustrating, but not a deal breaker.
