On a Sunday in the middle of January '26 while visiting relatives I suffered an issue with my left eye. Major floaters, strings and a zillion tiny specs. Rocky emergency sent me in to Red Deer hospital to see the Ophthalmologist on call. Dr. Chacon came in on his day off to check me out. Need to hire some new staff. Maybe someone a little friendlier. So far it’s a 1 star from me and I haven’t even met the dr yet
Don’t waste your time with this guy he’s been treating my eye for an eye inflammation for three months three weeks ago. He told me he was gonna talk to another colleague and get back to me. He has not gotten back to me. He’s totally useless. Now I have to find another eye Doctor Who actually says that when I will talk to a colleague and get back to you, he’ll actually do what he says he’s going to do!!!!
I have been a patient of Dr chacon for a few years now..he is very professional and communicated to me while examining on a regular with no concerns..he is approachable ..and informative..he has performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes and I would highly recommend him..we all have options for who we want ? And if the other surgeon didn't have the personality and bed-side manners of a fly?? I would never have had the pleasure and honor of being Dr Chacrons patient
Such a miserable experience starting from receptionist she is so bad when it comes to attitude, raising her voice on customers, keep calling me when I was sleeping she is really annoying, when I Informed and share my constructive feedback with DR he is more worse than her, his English so awful difficult to understand to be honest on top he is so arrogant no wonder I have seen many people rating them low and been through such horrible experiences. Please watch out save your time, go see some better specialist Doctors thanks
