I saw this doctor many years ago. I thought I was seeing double. I'll never forget how mean he was and how bad he made me feel.
The doctor is rude and arrogant and I will be getting a second opinion. There are way too many doctors in our area to be subjected to his negative, dismissive feedback and the office is horribly run. I waited close to 2 hours and others in the waiting room said they always wait a long time. This was my first visit and I am NEVER going back. If you enjoy a degrading experience you should sign right up!
arrogant, impersonal, terrible experience and not helpful
Stay away from this man. Did surgery on my 85 year old mother - there is a "wrinkle" in her cornea implant that he said would straighten out - it hasn't. Do you think she can see with that? Unfortunately my mother trusted him to do her other eye which also had a bad result. Zero compassion and tells her to come back in a few months. A rude, arrogant man who in my opinion should not be practicing medicine. The reviews speak for themselves.
I saw Dr Sachs because of a problem I was having with my eyes. His staff was very courteous and I had minimal wait time to see the Dr. Dr Sachs did a thorough exam mad explained everything to me in a way that I can understand rather than throwing medical jargon at me. He took the time to answer all of my questions.
Very professional and thorough. The LASIK procedure was fully explained and went well.
I recently saw Dr Sachs because of worsening vision. He was recommended to me by a friend's son who had Lasik performed by him and was very happy with his results. I found both Dr Sachs and his staff to be very welcoming and friendly. To my surprise I found out that I had cataracts which Dr. Sachs spent at least 15 min with me explaining to me what they were and what my options were. I waited an hour and a half, having made the appointment due to pain in my eye. This doctor was actually recommended by a friend. This man spent no more than 2 minutes with me, and told me i had a condition....did not understand what it was he said...and to come back in a month to have it treated. Apparently he was going on vacation and had 'no time right now'. I have no answer as to why my eye hurts, and i spent a great deal of time waiting for a rude and nasty physician. David Sachs is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and I do NOT recommend a visit. I made an appointment for a LASIK evaluation. The assistant who began the eval was very rude and had a very bad, unfriendly, unprofessional attitude. I scheduled my appointment no more than 11 days prior to the visit but during the eval the girl told me that I should have gone 2 weeks without my contacts.
