I always schedule my appointments early to help avoid a log wait. I got to the office for my appointment checked in at desk and after sitting an hour went up and asked how long it would be until seen. The staff realized they never checked me in.. they went in the back and came back out and said the doctor was running behind and would I like to reschedule? I said no.. maybe instead of chatting with each other behind the desk about there weekend plans they should have looked up to see people sitting in the waiting room.
I have been a patient of Dr. Manalis for a few years now. If you can actually get through to her via the terrible office staff, she is very knowledgeable, has a good sense of humor, and I feel like she is a friend. However, the office manager and office employees are simply awful, in particular, the office manager.

I wasn't called into the room until an hour after my scheduled appointment time. Not through, not communicative, not at all helpful.
Dr. Manalis is a very knowledgeable, professional, and passionate physician. She always spends as much time with you as needed and makes sure you understand everything. Most importantly of all, Dr. Manalis genuinely cares about you and your health and well being. She is simply the best!!

The front office staff and office manager in particular are a bunch of heartless people without an ounce of human compassion within them. STAY AWAY!
Dr Helen Manalis has been my doctor for over 19 years!! She loves her job and it’s evident. She has compassion besides being an excellent doctor. She takes the time to EXPLAIN everything and she even goes the extra measure to make sure your insurance covers you medication!! She’s soft spoken, takes the time to listen to you, and she’s ALWAYS right on her game!! EXCELLENT DOCTOR!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Manalis for years. She is very thorough and understanding. It is a shame the office staff are so rude and it is nearly impossible to talk to anyone on the phone to make an appointment. When you finally get someone to pick up the phone, they complain about all of the calls they are getting to schedule appointments. It seems they have no training on how to work with people.
It took me over 40 Years to finally find a Dr. who listens to me and thoroughly treated me to where I feel the best I've ever felt in my life. She's a woman that understands other woman! Pure excellence!!
