Dr. Chung is caring, compassionate and hears what you say when you bring a concern or worry to her about the procedure or treatment needed. Terrible surgeon. She told me I didn’t have thyroid cancer and only removed part of my thyroid. Damaging my vocal chord nerve and my parathyroids. I am living the rest of my life with disabilities because of her cavalier attitude. Had to have a second surgery and found out I had 7cm of cancer which she missed some with her botched surgery. The pathologist couldn’t even get it right they said I had a micro cancer. If you need thyroid surgery go to Fox Chase or Dr Clayman at Tampa General. You won’t come out maimed.
Not very friendly. Didn't do a thing for me then wanted me to come back in two weeks. I left in tears & terrified for my life.Never again.

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and she was referred to see Dr. Chung from her physician for surgical intervention. From the first appointment with Dr. Chung, both she and my father were 100% comfortable and confident in the next steps that needed to occur. Dr. Chung, her staff and the staff at LVH Muhlenberg campus were excellent and her bilateral mastectomy and recovery went beautifully. Our family will be forever grateful to Dr. Chung for her genuine kindness and skill.
