My mother was 95 yrs old when she passed away last year (2017) Dr. Weber had my Mom on Warfarin for 6 years. In February my Mother was having problems with her face swelling up & her protein levels kept dropping. She took my Mom off Warfarin in January, way too late. Was told by the Rush-Copley hospital doctor that they don't keep their patients on warfarin that long. Only about 3 or 4 months. My Dad was on Warfarin & he died in 1998.
