I’ve been seeing Dr Patel for over two years until today. I will find another doctor. Like other reviews implied here - Dr Patel will see you in order to bill you for an office visit. He demands you see him in order for prescriptions to be renewed - even though every other doctor I’ve seen requires an annual check up and of course other visits if you are ill. He also does not wish to even really discuss anything - it’s all about the $ here.
My parents were patients of Dr. Patel for years. Once my elderly mom became very ill and housebound, we needed more understanding and support from Dr Patel and his staff, but unfortunately this is where the breakdown occurred. My mom was put on a medication and Dr Patel required us to bring her in every 4 weeks. Because of my mom’s condition, it was extremely difficult to bring her in the office.
