There is a special place on earth for people like Dr El Kommos. The receptionist was the only professional in that office. It seemed he was more eager to drive off in his beautiful Mercedes s class then to tend to my sons’ fractured ankles, he only chose to deal with one ankle and failed to shed any light on the actual condition. Doctor El Kommos of Space Coast Orthopedics is unprofessional and unethical. I had him assigned through workers comp, and he definitely had a prejudice on me for being on workers compensation. My surgery was on 3/12/24. If your workers comp agency recommends him, I recommend you use your change of physician cause this guys a joke. The first time I met him I heard him ask the staff in the hall if he was done for the day. They told him “no”. He audibly sighed. Met Dr Komo in November 2016. Had issues with mobility. He sent me for an MRI and they diagnosed a possible fistula. Expedited my diagnosis with a neurosurgeon in Viera over Christmas holiday and I ended up getting an angiogram at Mayo in January. Did a laminectomy to remove a fistula in March, and while I still have limited mobility, I'd be paralyzed from waist down without his aggressive treatment plan. Trust him with my life. Great guy
