Dr. Claussen is one of the best physicians to take part in my care. My fianc? and I both work in the healthcare field and agree that she has the experience and bedside manner that is superior to most physicians in her field. She is an excellent listener and ensures that you understand your condition as well as information regarding testing, exams, medication, ect... She also respects patients' decisions and is not paternalistic or pressuring. I have greatly enjoyed the care she provides.
I was a patient of Dr. Claussen's for over a year before being diagnosed with MS. During that year, she incorrectly diagnosed me or rather, missed the diagnosis. I felt that she did not listen to me and was always in a hurry. I requested the diagnostic test that led to the MS diagnosis because I knew she was wrong. I asked her when I first went to her (more than a year earlier) if I could have MS- she said it was a peripheral not central nervous system problem-she was wrong. Irreversible damage!
