If not for his deplorable lack of effective patient scheduling I would give Dr. Singh a 5 star rating. He is knowledgeable, personable and has excellent interpersonal skills. However routine assessment appointments consistently exceed 3 hours of which at least 2+ hours are dead-times sitting in waiting rooms due to his over scheduling of patient visits.. I recently suffered from an allergic reaction and bacterial infection in both eyes. I tried going to my PCP first and then my eye doctor but did not get any results. After day four I was going crazy because nothing was working. My wife drove me to this place right when they opened and I was ready to sit there all day until I was seen. I was called back within 30 minutes of my arrival and the doctor was very diligent in her review of my situation. I was prescribed medicine that can only be found at a compound pharmacy. I was referred to this office by my optometrist. I was unable to get in with Dr. Singh so I saw one of his associates Belu Allam, MD. She barely looked at my chart and within minutes had me terrified I had some eye disease. She had the WORST bedside manner I have ever experienced. Mind you I had ONE symptom of this disease and it was watering eyes. She did not offer any other advice or information. So she then refers me to a specialist in Houston. I called to make an appointment and asked numerous questions. I have a great PPO medical plan and an expensive add-on vision plan since I have keratoconus and require scleral lenses. The person who answered my call for scheduling advised that this practice does not take vision insurance, only medical insurance. I specifically broke down the experience I've had with other offices that are able to use supplemental insurance.
