Dr. Black is an amazingly knowledgeable and compassionate doctor who easily relates to my kids. I feel so lucky to have found her for them. She takes her time, really listens to them, and has a great sense of humor and positive attitude. You might find someone as good, maybe, but you couldn't do better.
I have 6 kids and my oldest (and only daughter) is a handful.... and then some. Dr. Black took time to actually speak to her and try to get through. I also have a son with autism and she is amazing with him. When I need something, especially to help him at school she doesn't hesitate. She never makes me feel like I'm crazy, either. Thank you Dr. Black. You rock.
When my daughter was 2 wks old she was having trouble breathing, had a cough, wasn't eating, and wasn't sleeping very well. A couple days later we took her in to see Dr. Black and were told that she could test her for RSV but if she tested positive that there was nothing she could do. We went to the urgent care to get her deep suctioned and they tested her for RSV w/o even asking. They immediately told us to rush her to the hospital where we spent a week with her on oxygen. Unbelievable!
