I am a 10 year patient of Dr Kosmorsky, I totally disagree with the bad reviews. He is personable, friendly and thorough. His staff is excellent as well. I think the bad reviews are from one disgruntled person that is very childish.

When he came into my appointment, he looked at my historical MRIs and disagreed with prior reading. I asked a question about another diagnosis and he told me I didn’t have that either after looking with his naked eye and not consulting my background. He then accusingly asked me who sent me to him. He told me the problems I’m having are congenital despite never causing any issue in 50 years. I am so frustrated.

Waste of time. Dr. Kosmorsky literally spent less than 5 minutes and this was my first appointment. I have a long history which includes a brain stem tumor and an autoimmune disorder. As soon as I mentioned that I've had two pair of glasses with prisms in them- he acted like he couldn't get out of there fast enough. I believe he is lazy, dismissive, uniformed, arrogant and dangerous to have on staff at the Cleveland Clinic. If that's "World class care" then I'd question what world they are living in.

I went to see Dr. Kosmorsky because I suspected I needed a new prescription for my diplopia (double vision) condition. (My regular ophthalmologist was out on medical leave.) He would not test me for prisms but had me read the E chart. I had brought the material that I use my mid-range glasses for, and that precise focus is necessary. I asked him twice if he wanted me to look at this material with my glasses and to see that I possibly needed a new prism correction. He refused and said I saw just fine and that prisms were crut... read more

After telling Kosmorsky I was treated like garbage by another in the profession, I no sooner received the same cold, useless, bigoted treatment. Talk about the lack of compassion. I was with his nurse for 15 minutes, he came in for less than five and dismissed me. With a very rare brain condition you expect testing, at the bare minimum, you expect guidance. Don't come here unless you're seeking mediocre (at-best) medical treatment. Keep those co-pays in your own hand.

The worst doctor ever! Spent 2 minutes with me and was dismissive, then tells the waiting room is to the right! How was the appointment over when we haven’t discussed anything? The appointment was weird and awkward

I had blurry vision in my left eye from November 2020 until March 2021 and then again from August 2021 until present, December 2021. After two hours of testing he said I need a new prescription which doesn't make sense with my symptoms coming and going. You don't wake up one morning not able to see out of one eye bc your prescription has changed. That happens gradually. He was very rude and dismissive and after I explained my concern he said there was nothing else he could do. I will never go back

Didn't get the answer I wanted, but I did get a plausible explanation (even though there's nothing he can do for me). But he had a great sense of humor and bedside manner. He really made me feel comfortable, heard, and respected. He did a very thorough exam, and was actually half an hour early for my appointment! Definitely recommend for my loved ones who can use his expertise.

Dr Kosmorsky is a MIRACLE WORKER. He did the surgeries on my eyes after I had lost sight from an aneurysm rupture. He was kind, through, and didn’t stop until my eyesight was perfect. I recommend him to everyone- I wouldn’t want to go to any one else now.
