Dr. Keelen is an Angel Doctor! My husband is 62, and in early September 2025, a peritonsillar abscess began in his throat. What followed was 6 ER visits (2 of which became 4-day hospital stays) and more antibiotics than any person should take in a short time. He was told that a tonsillectomy was far too dangerous for him at his age because of the risk of bleeding out post-surgery. We felt hopeless, and the abscess kept returning.
