Dr. Schroeder was my anesthesiologist on 10/10/23 for my surgery with Dr. Olukoga. He listened to my concern about taking Tylenol orally & used a drip instead. I had 2 different nurses tell me that when I got home if I drank or ate a small amount of something & got sick, to stop (apparently patients are none-too bright & have to be told to stop doing something that makes them vomit...?) Anyway I had no nausea; I came through just fine. Well done Dr.!
Prior to my outpatient surgery, Dr. Schroeder & his assistant Chris met with my family & me and went over my options. They were friendly, didn’t get annoyed with my nervous lot, answered our questions & listened to me. I have a lot of respect for the anesthesiologist profession of putting someone else’s patient to sleep, making sure pt stays asleep for however long it takes, w/o causing long-term impairment, coma or death.
